The 1st International Congress on Multidisciplinary Optimization and Intelligent Systems (ICMOIS 2026) was successfully held online on 24–25 September 2026.
Bringing together research on optimization, artificial intelligence, intelligent systems and their multidisciplinary applications, the congress welcomed researchers from different universities and countries. Throughout the scientific sessions, participants presented current research and exchanged academic knowledge and experience in an international environment.
The congress was held with Prof. Dr. Mehmet Bahçekapılı, Rector of Yalova University, serving as Honorary Chair, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aykut Fatih Güven serving as Congress Chair. ICMOIS 2026 provided an international academic platform for sharing recent scientific developments in multidisciplinary optimization and intelligent systems.
Congress Chair Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aykut Fatih Güven expressed his gratitude to the members of the Organizing and Scientific Committees, reviewers, session chairs, researchers presenting their studies, and all participants who contributed to the successful organization of the congress. As the first edition of ICMOIS, the congress is planned to continue in the coming years with increasing international participation and scientific interaction, while contributing to the development of new academic collaborations across disciplines.
