A retirement ceremony was held in honor of Prof. Dr. İbrahim Sevim, a faculty member of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Yalova University Faculty of Engineering, in recognition of his dedicated academic service and valuable contributions to engineering education.
The ceremony took place on October 20, 2026, in the Meeting Hall of the Faculty of Engineering Dean’s Office, with the participation of academic staff.
Prof. Dr. İbrahim Sevim, who also served as the Head of the Division of Mechanics within the Department of Mechanical Engineering, was honored by his colleagues in a warm and meaningful gathering marking his retirement.
During the ceremony, appreciation was expressed for Prof. Dr. Sevim’s academic achievements, his contributions to engineering education and research, and his dedicated service to Yalova University.
The event provided an opportunity for colleagues to share their appreciation and best wishes. The ceremony concluded with the cutting of a retirement cake and a commemorative group photograph.
