The “Directive on Teknofest Competition Incentives and Evaluation of the Faculty of Engineering” has entered into force following the Senate Decision dated 12 November 2025 (No. 329) and has been formally communicated to our Faculty by the Office of the Secretary General. 📄
The Directive establishes a comprehensive framework regulating application and evaluation procedures for Teknofest and other technology competitions, while strengthening institutional support structures for student teams. ⚙
Key provisions include:
🔧 Definition of the duties and responsibilities of the Teknofest Commission,
🔍 Standardization of application and evaluation procedures,
🧭 Institutionalization of infrastructure, mentorship, and sponsorship support,
🏅 Mechanisms for recognizing and supporting successful student teams,
🤝 Strengthening communication and coordination related to competition activities.
This framework is expected to significantly contribute to our students’ innovation capacity, research engagement and participation in technology-oriented competitions. 📘
