On October 30, 2025, the Faculty of Engineering organized an online training session titled “TÜBİTAK 2209 Project Writing Workshop.”
Moderated by Dr. Neşe Çakır Yiğit, the Faculty’s R&D Coordinator, the session featured Assoc. Prof. Dr. Adem Tuncer, Director of the Graduate School and Faculty Member of the Computer Engineering Department, as the keynote speaker.
During the training, Dr. Tuncer provided a step-by-step walkthrough of the TÜBİTAK 2209-A application system, focusing on the technical framework of project preparation. Using real-time examples, he illustrated how to transform an idea into a scientifically grounded proposal — from defining the research problem to designing measurable outcomes.
One of the highlights of the event was the comparative analysis of accepted and rejected project proposals, helping students grasp the do’s and don’ts of successful project writing from real-world cases.
The session, aimed at enhancing students’ research motivation and academic creativity, concluded with an engaging Q&A session.
