As the Faculty of Engineering, we celebrate the 102nd anniversary of our Republic with great pride, enthusiasm, and a deep sense of responsibility.
October 29, Republic Day, is not merely a date in history — it represents a legacy forged through science, labor, intellect, and courage; a true heritage of engineering.
Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’s words, “Science is the truest guide in life,” are not only a principle for us engineers but a vision we strive to embody in every design, every project, and every student we inspire.
As we enter the second century of our Republic, our Faculty stands determined to reach toward the future through:

— and to build an everlasting Republic illuminated by the light of science.
The Faculty of Engineering aims to enhance our nation’s scientific capacity, nurture young engineers under the guiding light of the Republic, and spread this light to the entire world.
