The Quality Commission of the Faculty of Engineering at Yalova University held an online evaluation meeting to review the quality assurance activities carried out during the first half of 2026 and to define its strategic objectives for the second half of the year.
Chaired by Prof. Dr. Jülide Hızal Yücesoy, the meeting focused on ongoing efforts to strengthen the faculty’s quality culture. Participants reviewed the achievements of the first six months and exchanged ideas on future initiatives in the areas of education, research and development, societal engagement, and institutional governance.
In addition to the commission members, the meeting was attended by external stakeholder Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Turan and student representative Emre Dinç, who shared their valuable perspectives and recommendations regarding the faculty’s quality assurance processes. Their contributions supported discussions on enhancing continuous improvement practices, increasing the effectiveness of the quality assurance system, and further promoting a student-centered approach.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Commission established the roadmap for quality assurance activities to be implemented during the second half of 2026 and reached a shared consensus on strategic priorities that will contribute to the Faculty’s institutional development.
Yalova University Faculty of Engineering remains committed to strengthening its quality assurance system through active stakeholder engagement and to fostering a sustainable culture of continuous quality improvement across all academic and administrative processes.
