A project led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali İmran Ayten, faculty member of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Yalova University Faculty of Engineering, has been selected for funding under the TÜBİTAK 2515–COST R&D Program.
The project aims to contribute to strategically important engineering fields including advanced composite materials, impact absorption systems, ballistic protection technologies, and material behavior under high strain rates.
Conducted within the framework of COST Action CA21155 – HISTRATE, the project represents an important academic achievement in terms of international scientific collaboration, digital certification approaches, and innovative engineering solutions for the defense industry.
