Yalova University Achieves Outstanding Success at Teknofest 2025

Yalova University proudly marked a major achievement at Teknofest 2025, with five different teams reaching the finals. Our students showcased their innovative projects across diverse fields, earning nationwide recognition and representing our university’s strong vision in technology and innovation.
    •    Educational Technologies Competition:
Novaker Team consisted of Burak Mutluer, Musa Seyidoğlu, Mehmet Yazıcıoğlu, together with high school students Emirhan Şenbaş and Muhammet Enes Berber. The team ranked 4th in Türkiye, proving their creativity and innovation.
    •    Blockchain Competition:
Aerochain Team, led by Industrial Engineering student Nisa Nur Keklik, with Ömer Gün (Computer Engineering), Süleyman Çelik (Mechanical Engineering) and Hazal Karakuş (Electrical-Electronics Engineering), reached the finals among 8,000 teams.
    •    Vertical Landing Rocket Competition:
Taragay Team, under the supervision of Assist. Prof. Mahmut Bingöl, included Musa Seyidoğlu (Mechanical / Captain), Burak Mutluer (Electrical-Electronics), Hasan Albayrakoğlu (Mechanical), Hamza Çakar (Electrical-Electronics), Berat Atıcı (Electrical-Electronics), Sümeyra Karakoç (Mechanical), Ahmet Çoban (Computer) and Emre Yıldız (Computer). Despite being their first participation, the team advanced to the finals.
    •    Smart Transportation Competition (University Category):
A-SUM Team was formed by Bihter Rana Satır, Ravza Çetinkaya, Yasin Salih Kelleci, Berrak Şahin, Hazal Karakuş and Dilara Yılmaz. Guided by Res. Assist. İsmail Adalıoğlu, they successfully ranked among the top 25 out of thousands of applications.
    •    Smart Transportation Competition (High School Category):
AVSIM Team, consisting of Talha Kaya Efeler (Yalova Termal Science High School), Mustafa Kuzey Uysal (Yalova Uğur Schools Science High School) and Onur Bay (Gebze Yücel Boru Science High School), achieved 2nd place in Türkiye under the mentorship of Industrial Engineering student Nisa Nur Keklik.
