T.C. Presidential Science, Technology, and Innovation Policies Board is conducting the "Net Zero Emission 2053 R&D and Innovation Initiative." Within this framework, the "Integrated, Efficient, Safe, and Environmentally Friendly Smart Transportation Systems" Technology-Based Prioritized National Initiative Working Group has been established.
Dr. Yavuz DELİCE, Assistant Professor at Yalova University Faculty of Engineering, Department of Transportation Engineering, has been appointed upon invitation to contribute to this prestigious working group.
📌 Objectives of the Working Group:
🚆 Developing innovative and sustainable technologies for Turkey’s transportation systems.
📊 Providing scientific contributions in smart transportation systems, travel behavior analysis, simulation, and algorithm development.
🤝 Planning R&D and innovation processes to support Turkey’s 2053 Net Zero Emission goals.
🌍 Launching national initiatives and effectively utilizing international funds and financial opportunities.
🔹 Dr. Yavuz DELİCE will contribute his academic expertise to the "Technology Roadmap for Integrated, Efficient, Safe, and Environmentally Friendly Smart Transportation Systems."
🔹 The project, conducted with expert academics, government agencies, and private sector representatives, is planned to be presented to the President of Turkey by August 15, 2025.
